AJMAN — Shaikh Rashid bin Humaid Al Nuami, Chairman of the Ajman Department of the Municipality and Planning, has said that the addition of the department of planning to Ajman municipality will help it focus on enhancing the infrastructure development in the emirate.

Attacked TV journalist not sure of attacker’s identity

SHARJAH — Iqbal Al Tamimi — a journalist of a TV channel — the victim of the Sharjah stalker, told Khaleej Times that she was not sure of the identity of the assailant who attacked her as she was in a shock at the time of the incident. She stressed that she could not confirm that the man who was arrested by the police was the same man who attacked her, as she had seen him only from behind. Al Tamimi said that she was not at the police station when other victims were brought to identify the man who attacked them.
